DaVinci Resolve is Blackmagic Design's professional video editing and color grading platform, widely used in professional film and television production. The software has integrated AI capabilities through its DaVinci Neural Engine, bringing machine learning acceleration to color science, motion estimation, and image quality enhancement without compromising the software's professional-grade credibility.

The Neural Engine's AI processing accelerates several computationally intensive editing tasks. Magic Mask uses AI to track and isolate specific objects, people, or areas in footage without manual rotoscoping, enabling precise color grading and effects application to selected elements. This AI-powered masking dramatically accelerates work that previously required frame-by-frame manual effort.
